new bootchart goodness

so my work machine died last week due to some faulty caps:

the machine was replaced with an amd phenom 2 (6 cores @ 2.8ghz):

so i wanted to make sure that my startups were fast.
with some minor work on the the system and kernel i got my boot time to about 16 seconds.

here is the bootchart:

as you can see i can probably make it a bit faster on startup since i booted with usb drives connected and some other misc stuff but at 16 seconds i am happy.
